Mauricio Alpízar Castro (born 30 January 1979) is a retired Costa Rican professional football player.

Alpízar played for Municipal Liberia, Club Sport Herediano and Puntarenas FC in the Primera Division de Costa Rica.
Alpízar made three appearances for the Costa Rica national football team, all of them at the UNCAF Nations Cup 2003.[1]
Alpízar has also played for Costa Rica at the 1999 FIFA World Youth Championship in Nigeria.[2]
